Our target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The site uses semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-accessible controls, visible focus treatment, text alternatives where images convey meaning, responsive layouts, and reduced-motion preferences where applicable.
Known constraints
Content and images supplied by external publishers may not meet the same accessibility standard. Some article summaries, publication metadata, maps of publisher location, and generated fallback imagery may have incomplete descriptions or automated errors. External sites open under their own accessibility practices.
Using the site
You can browse releases without enabling location, notifications, or a watchlist. Province selection is available as an alternative to browser location. Core article links remain available when scripts or external coverage providers fail.
Feedback and alternate formats
If you encounter a barrier, need information in another format, or have difficulty using a control, use the contact page or email supportnewsroom@gmail.com. Include the page address, the barrier you encountered, your browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and the format or accommodation that would help. We will acknowledge accessibility feedback and work toward a reasonable response.
