The service
Canada Newsroom Monitor is the public operating name for this independent information-monitoring service. The site organizes public federal and provincial releases and locates related Canadian reporting. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by any government or publisher.
Permitted use
You may use the site for personal, journalistic, educational, research, and other lawful purposes. You may link to public pages. You must not disrupt the service, evade security controls, introduce malicious code, overload automated endpoints, impersonate the operator, or use the site in a way that violates another person’s rights.
Third-party material
Headlines, excerpts, images, names, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Links lead to official releases and third-party publications, whose own terms and privacy practices apply. Inclusion does not imply endorsement, and omission does not imply that coverage does not exist.
Automated features
Search, grouping, geography detection, deduplication, thumbnail selection, and article summaries may be automated. Automated outputs can be incomplete or wrong. Review the original release and linked article before relying on a statement or republishing it.
Premium membership and the demo
News releases and related publisher links remain free. The $5 CAD monthly premium membership unlocks analytical and monitoring features. The one-time 30-minute demo begins only after a signed-in reader starts it and cannot be restarted after it expires. Membership renews monthly until cancelled through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewal and access continues through the paid billing period. Except where required by law, charges for a billing period that has begun are not refundable.
No professional advice
The site provides general news-discovery information. It is not legal, financial, immigration, security, medical, or other professional advice and should not be used as an official record or emergency information source.
Availability and changes
We may correct, remove, suspend, or change content and features without notice. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent archiving, complete coverage, or compatibility with every device.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The operator is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on the service, unavailable sources, third-party content, or external websites.
Questions
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page. These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the province or territory in which the site operator is established, without limiting rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
