Primary-source labelling
Government material is identified as an official release, advisory, statement, speech, readout, or other source type whenever that information is available. We link to the original publisher and do not present government text as independent reporting.
Related coverage
Coverage discovery uses web indexes and search providers to identify reporting that appears to concern the same announcement. A match does not mean that an article endorses, verifies, or relies on the release. Readers should open the linked article and assess the publisher’s full reporting.
Automation and summaries
Matching, grouping, thumbnails, summaries, claim extraction, and other signals may be produced with automated systems. These outputs can be incomplete or wrong. The interface labels analytical context and directs readers to original sources rather than treating generated text as a substitute for them.
Selection and ranking
Top and trending placements consider recency, related-coverage volume, publishing reach, and available imagery. They are not endorsements and do not measure truth, public importance, or actual page views unless a verified source for those figures is explicitly shown.
Corrections and conflicts
We correct material errors in our own labels, summaries, or data when they are identified. We do not silently rewrite the content of linked sources. Correction requests and potential conflicts can be sent to supportnewsroom@gmail.com.
