Ministerial Statement: Minister Dinn Recognizes Early Childhood Educators Week and Announces Scholarship Recipient

Education and Early Childhood Education Minister Paul Dinn announced in Corner Brook that the YMCA-operated Grenfell Campus childcare center will receive $665,000 annually, plus an additional $92,000 for equipment and supplies. Dinn described childcare and Early Childhood Educators as important and indicated there will be more announcements in the future.

A Corner Brook Campus CNA student, Louise Pedersen, received a scholarship during Early Childhood Educators Week. Pedersen is recognized for leadership and community involvement and aspires to open an outdoor, nature-based early learning centre.
