Nova Scotia renewed the 9-8-8: Suicide Crisis Helpline for a fourth consecutive year, continuing 24/7 free support connected with trained responders in English or French. The renewal maintains funding and collaboration among federal and provincial partners, CAMH, and 37 network partners to ensure access for Nova Scotians.

The province announced over $3.1 million in funding for organizations across Newfoundland and Labrador through the Cultural Economic Development Program. More than 100 organizations have received funding to support arts, culture, and heritage activities such as festivals, concerts, theatre, exhibitions, and other cultural programming.
