Commissioner of Competition files application regarding acquisition by Nortera Foods Inc. of substantially all of the assets of B&G Foods Canada, ULC’s Green Giant and Le Sieur business
Notice is hereby given that on August 18, 2026, an application pursuant to section 92 of the Competition Act, RSC 1985, c C-34 was filed with the Competition Tribunal by the Commissioner of Competition, regarding the acquisition by Nortera Foods Inc. of substantially all of the assets of B&G Foods Canada, ULC’s Green Giant and Le Sieur business (the Proposed Acquisition).
