The federal government announced an investment of nearly $40.5 million, to be split among 23 businesses in Waterloo region and Brant County, to support defense, security, and AI technologies. The announcement was made by Federal Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation Evan Solomon at XL Tool in Kitchener.
