The RCMP Traffic Services East stopped a vehicle on Salmonier Line near Holyrood after the driver, a 17-year-old, was recorded at speeds up to 102 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. The 17-year-old’s license was suspended, the vehicle was seized and impounded, and they were issued a ticket for excessive speed.

Two drivers in Mary's Harbour were suspended from driving after being stopped for excessive speeds on the Trans-Labrador Highway. A 34-year-old man was ticketed at 133 km/h in an 80 km/h zone near St. Lewis Inlet, and a 67-year-old man was ticketed at 111 km/h in a construction zone with a 30 km/h limit near Lodge Bay; both had their licences suspended.
